SKINION X®: Cut protection as a first layer

The technology behind the cut resistance

H-PEA® Fiber
A specially advanced high-performance fiber (High Performance Polyethylene Advanced) with very high abrasion resistance, cut-resistant properties, and excellent skin compatibility. The fiber reduces local friction peaks and distributes contact forces.

H3D Knitting System®
Cut protection isn’t just a matter of material, but of knit architecture. The H3D Knitting System® combines spacer zones, micro-vanisé, and functional jersey. The result: defined contact points, glide-capable surfaces, and controlled air channels. This makes it harder for blades to “grab,” keeps the skin flexible, and maintains a stable microclimate.

Certification and verification

TRM-tested according to EN 17092-1 (sliding events up to 30 km/h, protection extension for up to 10 m of sliding distance).
Cut protection properties according to EN 388 (testing by Hohenstein Institute). This combination proves suitability for dynamic everyday scenarios in sports and movement.
