SKINION X is a high-end base layer with an additional textile protective function directly on the skin. Longsleeve and leggings together form a close-fitting first layer for upper and lower body.

Enhances your existing gear: SKINION X does not replace outer protective clothing or protectors. It adds an extra textile layer directly on the skin.

For movement and long wear: Elastic, breathable textile structures support the body during different activities and under additional clothing or equipment.

Less friction and shear load: H3D® textile structures are designed to reduce and decouple mechanical loads between skin, movement and the layers worn on top.

Additional textile protection: Selected material and textile constructions have been technically tested for defined abrasion and cut loads using relevant test methods according to EN 17092 and EN 388.

Our model David is 180 cm tall and wears M/L.

Close-fitting / performance fit: choose the smaller suitable size.
Slightly more relaxed, still close-fitting: choose the larger suitable size.

For the Protection Set, the same size applies to both longsleeve and leggings. For exact measurements, use the size chart directly on the product page.

Follow the usual rules for delicates and performance wear: Wash at a maximum of 30–40°C (86–104°F) on a gentle cycle. Turn the garment inside out and close all zippers or Velcro. Spin gently (short, max. ~600 rpm) to protect the elastic fibers. It’s best to let SKINION X® air dry.

Yes—SKINION X® feels like a second skin. Thanks to seamless construction and 4-way stretch, the longsleeve/leggings fit your body perfectly. They fit close to the skin like other performance wear, eliminating hotspots and friction. At the same time, the material is very flexible: the H-PEA® fiber is up to 42% softer in bending than aramid fabric. That’s why you hardly notice SKINION X®—many users wear it for hours (motorcycling, running, or even on construction sites) without ever feeling like they’re wearing "protective clothing."

How close-fitting do you want it? If you usually wear size M, you have two options:

• For a snug fit, tight like a performance layer, choose S/M.

• For a bit more room between you and the fabric—without sacrificing function or protection—choose M/L.

From summer to winter: The system can be used as a close-fitting first layer at very different temperatures and activity levels. The actual thermal insulation always results from the interaction with the layers worn on top.
