The Johannes Lochner bobsleigh team and SKINION X® are expanding their development cooperation
in the field of performance-oriented protective and functional underwear. The aim is to
continuously further develop SKINION X® Protective First Layers under real high-performance conditions
and to precisely optimize the combination of skin protection,
freedom of movement and a functional microclimate.
The cooperation deliberately focuses on real conditions in the ice track: training sessions
and race runs provide valuable insights into temperature, load, friction and
movement dynamics. This data flows directly into the Skin Performance Lab, the
research platform of SKINION X®, where textile skin protection systems are
scientifically analyzed and further developed.
Cortina provided the first intensive measurement points at the start of the season, and Innsbruck is now
delivering further important impulses.
