What happens to your skin when you move

Shear forces

When you move, your clothing slides slightly back and forth on your skin. This creates a lateral pulling force called shear force. These shear forces can irritate the skin, cause sore spots, burning or pain. What SKINION X does about it: SKINION X distributes these forces before they reach your skin. The result is less pull, less friction, less skin stress.

Friction

Friction occurs when fabric, protectors or straps move across the skin as you move. The longer you’re out, the greater the strain becomes. Friction leads to chafing and overheating of the skin. What SKINION X does about it: The material is extremely smooth and moves with you. This significantly reduces friction and keeps your skin calmer.

Micro-injuries

When shear forces and friction act on the same spot for a long time, small, invisible skin damages occur. These are micro-injuries. You feel them as burning, pulling or sensitive, irritated areas. Over time, this can become a real problem. What SKINION X does about it: SKINION X reduces the stresses that trigger these small damages.
